A woman has been charged following a major Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) investigation into an attack on a police station in Lurgan.
Detectives from the PSNI Serious Crime Branch confirmed that the 39-year-old woman has been charged with obstructing police after being arrested as part of the ongoing investigation.
The woman was released unconditionally in connection with separate allegations relating to perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender.
She is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
Police have also confirmed that a 48-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy remain in custody at this time as detectives continue their enquiries into the incident.
The investigation relates to an attack on Lurgan police station, which remains under investigation by the PSNI Serious Crime Branch.
As is standard procedure in Northern Ireland, the charge against the woman will now be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
The PSNI has not released further details surrounding the circumstances of the attack or the extent of damage caused during the incident.
Investigators are continuing to examine all aspects of the case and further updates are expected as enquiries progress.
