Police have made a third arrest following disorder at the Nailors Row interface area in Derry/Londonderry earlier this week. An 11-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of riotous behaviour and possession of an offensive weapon. Investigations remain ongoing.
Police investigating recent disorder in Derry / Londonderry have confirmed a third arrest linked to disturbances at the Nailors Row interface area earlier this week.
Officers said on Thursday, 7 May 2026, that an 11-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of offences including riotous behaviour and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The child has since been bailed while further police enquiries continue.
Investigation Into Derry/Londonderry Disorder Continues
The disorder took place at the Nailors Row interface area earlier this week and remains under active investigation by the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
Police say efforts are ongoing to identify everyone involved in the incident.
