

The original Weasley family stars from the Harry Potter films reunited at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter to celebrate 25 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first hit cinemas. Bonnie Wright, James and Oliver Phelps, and Mark Williams revisited iconic sets including The Burrow and Platform 9¾ ahead of the launch of the new summer feature, First Year at Hogwarts – Where the Filmmaking Magic Began.
Fans of the wizarding world were treated to a magical moment this week as Bonnie Wright, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps and Mark Williams reunited at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
The beloved stars, who played Ginny, Fred, George and Arthur Weasley, stepped back onto the authentic film sets where the magic first came to life a quarter of a century ago.
From wandering through the cosy chaos of The Burrow to revisiting the iconic Platform 9¾ scenes, the cast reflected on their time filming one of the most successful movie franchises in cinema history.
The reunion comes as new research revealed that Harry Potter meeting the Weasley family on the way to Platform 9¾ remains one of the most loved moments from the first film.

Other fan favourites included Harry’s first Quidditch match, the moving staircases inside Hogwarts and the famous Wizard’s Chess scene.

They reflected on the craftsmanship that helped shape the Harry Potter universe, from creating over 17,000 wand boxes for Ollivanders to constructing the Great Hall set over an 18-week period.
Gary Tomkins, who helped design the Hogwarts castle model still displayed today, said returning to the sets “keeps the magic alive.”
