The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometres and typically takes around one hour.

Strong waterproof footwear is essential. Boots are recommended. Soft trainers are not suitable.
Warm and waterproof clothing is strongly advised. March weather in County Antrim can change quickly.
Access to Slemish Mountain on St Patrick’s Day will be strictly Park and Ride only.
No parking will be allowed near Slemish. Traffic patrols will enforce all no waiting zones.
Visitors should follow the yellow and black event signage on approach roads.
Parking for blue badge holders will also be available at the Silverwood/Michelin site.
Only service and assistance dogs are permitted.
