Mid Ulster District Council is inviting businesses and organisations to sponsor flowerbeds and seasonal planting displays across towns and villages throughout the district. The sponsorship programme will run from January 2027 for an initial one-year period and offers businesses the chance to increase visibility while supporting local communities. Applications open on 1 June and close on 19 June 2026.
Mid Ulster District Council has announced a new sponsorship opportunity for businesses and organisations looking to raise their profile while helping to enhance the appearance of local towns and villages.
The initiative will allow sponsors to display their company name and logo at prominent flowerbed and seasonal planting locations across the district, creating valuable exposure for participating businesses while contributing to attractive public spaces.
Sponsorship agreements will begin in January 2027 and will initially run for one year, with the possibility of extension.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Frances Burton, welcomed the initiative and encouraged businesses of all sizes to get involved.
She said:
“Mid Ulster’s flowerbeds and seasonal planting displays play an important role in enhancing the appearance of our towns and villages, creating welcoming spaces that residents, visitors and businesses can all take pride in.
Through these sponsorship opportunities, local businesses have the chance to support initiatives that contribute positively to the look and feel of our district while also increasing their own visibility within the community. It is a great example of partnership working that benefits everyone.
I encourage all businesses, big or small, to take part. Let’s work together to make our towns and villages blossom!”
