Detectives are requesting assistance and testimony following a report of burglary in the Mullach Allainn region of Newry. According to Detective Sergeant Dougherty, the police were notified of the burglary at a property in the area shortly after 7:50 pm on Friday, March 3. Thieves had allegedly broken into the property and ransacked its rooms. Fortunately, no one was home at the time, and there were no reports of any stolen items. However, the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities are urging any witnesses or anyone who may have captured CCTV or dash-cam footage in the vicinity around the time of the incident to contact the police by calling 101 and citing reference number 1771 of 03/03/23.
