
Detectives have seized suspected cannabis worth an estimated £4 million following the search of a lorry travelling from Scotland to Larne Harbour.
The operation took place on Monday, 27 April 2026, led by the Police Service of Northern Ireland Organised Crime Branch.
Officers worked alongside the An Garda Síochána National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau as part of the Joint Agency Task Force.
Police said the lorry was stopped and searched after arriving via ferry from Scotland into Larne.
During the search, detectives discovered suspected cannabis concealed within a large number of boxes.
