Strule Arts Centre in Omagh hosted a meaningful International Women’s Day Strule Arts Centre celebration on Saturday 7 March 2026, bringing together members of the community for a morning dedicated to women’s creativity, heritage and shared history.
The event, titled Celebrating Women & Heritage, ran from 10.30am to 12pm and offered a reflective and uplifting programme highlighting the cultural legacy of women past and present.
International Women’s Day, observed globally on 8 March each year, recognises the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women while encouraging continued action towards gender equality.
Guests attending the International Women’s Day Strule Arts Centre event were welcomed with tea, coffee and freshly prepared scones, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for conversation and connection.
