Cash and suspected Class B drugs seized during Larne house search

Police in Larne have seized a large amount of cash, suspected Class B controlled drugs and drug-related equipment during a house search on Sunday, 23 August. The search followed an arrest for drug possession, while a person is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.

Police have seized cash and suspected Class B drugs in Larne following an arrest for drug possession.

During the search, police said a large amount of cash was recovered alongside suspected Class B controlled drugs.

Devices and other suspected drug-related paraphernalia were also seized.

Police said a person is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.

The PSNI has not provided further details about the individual or disclosed the location of the property searched.

The substances recovered have been described by police as suspected controlled drugs.

The PSNI said:

“We are committed to tackling drug dealing in our communities.”
