Two Women Charged Following Lisburn Arson Attack

Two women, aged 34 and 38, have been charged following an arson attack in the Gregg Street area of Lisburn. Both are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 July.

Detectives investigating a Lisburn arson attack have charged two women with a series of offences.

The charges relate to an incident in the Gregg Street area of Lisburn on the evening of Saturday, 25 July.

Two Women Charged Over Lisburn Arson Attack

A 34-year-old woman has been charged with:

• Arson endangering life with intent
• Possession of a Class C controlled drug
• Attempted criminal damage
• Burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage

A second woman, aged 38, has been charged with:

• Arson endangering life with intent
• Criminal damage
• Attempted criminal damage
• Resisting police
• Possessing an article with a blade or point in a public place
• Burglary with intent to steal
• Burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage
• Threats to damage property

Lisburn Magistrates’ Court Appearance

Both women are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 July.

As is standard procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
