Two Vehicles Seized During West Belfast Searches Linked To Dunmurry Police Station Attack

Police have seized two vehicles and a number of other items during searches in west Belfast as part of an ongoing investigation into an attack at Dunmurry Police Station on Saturday 25 April. Detectives are continuing to appeal for information.

Two Vehicles Seized In West Belfast Searches

Two vehicles have been seized during police searches in west Belfast as part of an ongoing investigation into the attack at Dunmurry Police Station.

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit carried out the searches earlier today, Tuesday 16 June 2026.

They were assisted by Local Policing and Operational Support officers.

The searches were conducted in connection with the attack, which took place on the night of Saturday 25 April.

Items Including Electronic Devices Also Seized

During the operation, police seized two vehicles and a number of other items.

These included electronic devices, which will now form part of the ongoing investigation.

Police have confirmed that enquiries remain ongoing.

Police Appeal For Information

Police have renewed their appeal for anyone with information about the Dunmurry Police Station attack to come forward.

Anyone who can assist with enquiries is asked to contact police on 101.

Investigation Remains Ongoing

The investigation into the attack at Dunmurry Police Station remains active.
