Teenager released on bail following west Belfast stabbing

A 17-year-old arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in west Belfast has been released on bail while police enquiries continue.

A teenager arrested following a west Belfast stabbing has been released on bail, police have confirmed.

The 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident in the Suffolk Glen area on Sunday, 6 September 2026.

He was released on bail on Tuesday, 8 September, to allow further police enquiries to be carried out.
