Shots Fired at Lisburn House as Police Appeal for Information

Police are appealing for information after several shots were fired at a house in the Breton Court area of Lisburn shortly before 1.30am on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.

The front door and an upstairs window were damaged, along with a car parked outside. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information, CCTV, dash-cam or doorbell footage is being asked to contact police.

Detectives have launched an appeal for information after shots were fired at a house in Lisburn during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The incident happened in the Breton Court area of Lisburn shortly before 1.30am on Tuesday, 11 August.

Police said a number of shots were fired at the property.

The front door and an upstairs window were damaged during the incident.

A car parked at the house was also damaged.

However, police confirmed that those inside the property at the time were not injured.

Police Working to Establish Motive for Lisburn Attack

Detective Inspector Lewis said:

“We received a report that a number of shots had been fired at the house shortly before 1.30am on Tuesday morning.

“The shots were fired at the front door and an upstairs window causing damage but thankfully, those present in the property at the time were uninjured. A car parked at the house was also damaged during the incident.

“We are working to establish a motive for the attack and are asking anyone who may have information, or relevant dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage which could assist with our enquiries, to contact us in Lisburn on 101, quoting reference 64 11/08/26.”

CCTV, Dash-Cam and Doorbell Footage Sought

Police are asking anyone who was in the Breton Court area around the time of the incident to check whether they may have captured anything relevant.

This could include:

• CCTV footage
• Doorbell camera footage
• Dash-cam recordings
• Information about suspicious people
• Details of suspicious vehicles
• Anything unusual seen before or after the incident
