Police have seized a quantity of suspected drugs following a search in South Belfast. The operation was carried out by the South Belfast Neighbourhood Policing Team with support from the Tactical Support Group. Police shared details on Facebook, including a tongue-in-cheek reference to a doormat telling officers to “come back with a warrant.”
Suspected Drugs Seized in South Belfast Search
A South Belfast drugs search has resulted in a quantity of suspected drugs being located and seized by police.
The operation was carried out by the South Belfast Neighbourhood Policing Team, assisted by colleagues from the Tactical Support Group.
Police shared details of the operation in a Facebook post, where they also highlighted an unusual and tongue-in-cheek moment during the initial search.
According to the post, officers came across a doormat carrying a message telling them to:
“Come back with a warrant.”
Police then added simply:
“So we did.”
A warrant was subsequently obtained, the search was carried out, and a quantity of suspected drugs was located and seized.
