

A 77-year-old man, named by police as Dessie Sheridan from Tattyreagh, has died following a single-vehicle tractor collision in the Fintona area outside Omagh. Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed that a man has sadly died following a single-vehicle collision involving a tractor in the Fintona area outside Omagh.
He has been named as Dessie Sheridan, aged 77, from Tattyreagh.
The collision involved a red Massey Ferguson 185 tractor and happened in the Tullycunny Road area.
Detective Inspector Dave Stewart, from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit, said police were advised of the collision at around 6pm on Friday 19 June.
Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
Sadly, Mr Sheridan was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police enquiries into the collision are continuing.
Detective Inspector Stewart appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have information that could help the investigation, to come forward.
This includes anyone with dash-cam footage, CCTV, mobile phone footage or other relevant information from the Tullycunny Road area around the time of the collision.

Police said the Tullycunny Road will remain closed for much of today while enquiries continue.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route where possible.
The death of Dessie Sheridan will be deeply felt by his family, friends and the wider Tattyreagh and Fintona communities.
Police have asked anyone who can assist with their investigation to contact them as soon as possible.
