Discover the wildlife of autumn on a relaxed family-friendly nature walk at the Ulster Folk Museum.

Taking place during the Halloween mid-term, this slow-paced guided walk is a great opportunity to get outdoors, explore the museum grounds and learn how to identify some of the plants and wildlife found at this time of year.

Learn How to Record Local Wildlife
Experts from the Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR) will join the walk and introduce participants to the basics of biological recording.

You’ll learn how to identify and record species, helping contribute to important environmental data used to monitor biodiversity, understand the effects of climate change, track changes in wildlife populations and identify endangered species.
