Stained Glass Art Show and Tell at Botanic Gardens
Drop into Botanic Gardens in Belfast for a free creative Show and Tell session with artist-in-residence Kerrie Hanna.

Working across the Palm House and Tropical Ravine, Kerrie explores the plant collections and natural heritage of these historic spaces. She uses plant offcuts to create natural pigments and colour palettes, which are then transformed into original stained glass artworks.

See How Plants Become Art
During the session, visitors can watch Kerrie demonstrate her creative process and learn how discarded plant material can be reused to produce natural colour.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to get involved in creating artwork inspired by the plants, textures and colours found throughout Botanic Gardens.

The project brings together art, sustainability and Belfast’s botanical heritage in an accessible and engaging way.
