Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Residential
Complete the residential section of your Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award through an action-packed outdoor adventure programme designed to help participants meet new people, build confidence and develop practical skills.

The residential includes a wide range of outdoor and environmental activities, offering participants the chance to work as part of a team, try new challenges and spend meaningful time in nature.

Activities
Activities may include:

Tree climbing
Canoeing
Rock climbing
Campfire cooking
Wet bouldering
Forest and mountain walks
Leave No Trace activities
Environmental learning
Additional outdoor challenges
The programme is suitable for young people completing the residential requirement of their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.

Split Residential Option
The split residential consists of five days and four nights, divided across two separate stays.

Part One
Wednesday 8 April to Friday 10 April 2026
Two nights

Part Two
Monday 29 June to Wednesday 1 July 2026
Two nights

Participants must attend both parts to complete the full residential programme.

October Residential
A full five-day residential will also take place in October.
