A South Belfast Sure Start family fun day will take place at Drumglass Park on Saturday 23 May 2026, offering a free afternoon of activities for children and parents.
The event will run from 12pm to 4pm and is being held in support of South Belfast Sure Start, one of four charities chosen by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tracy Kelly, during her year in office.

Families can enjoy a wide range of free activities, including:
The event is designed for children of all ages, with many activities suitable for younger children supported by Sure Start services.
South Belfast Sure Start provides early years support for children and families in disadvantaged areas across Belfast.
Sure Start projects offer advice and early intervention services, including help with healthy eating, childcare support, play opportunities and family wellbeing.
Lord Mayor of Belfast Tracy Kelly said Sure Start provides “invaluable help” to local children and families, giving young people the best possible start in life.
