Four men have been charged with Class A drugs offences following a major police operation in Belfast. The investigation previously resulted in the seizure of around 14kg of suspected cocaine worth approximately £1.12 million. A fifth man remains in police custody.
Four men have been charged following a Belfast drugs operation carried out by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch.
The men, aged 26, 27, 33 and 34, are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 12 August 2026.
Four Men Charged Following Belfast Drugs Operation
Police confirmed that all four men have been charged with:
- Possession of Class A controlled drugs
- Possession of Class A controlled drugs with intent to supply
The 33-year-old man has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland, as is normal procedure.

More Than £1m of Suspected Cocaine Seized
The charges follow an Organised Crime Branch operation across the Greater Belfast area on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 August.
Police previously reported that approximately 14kg of suspected cocaine, with an estimated street value of £1.12 million, had been seized.
Officers also recovered suspected herbal cannabis valued at approximately £15,000.
Five men were initially arrested in connection with the investigation.
Fifth Man Remains in Police Custody
A 59-year-old man arrested in connection with the same investigation remained in police custody at the time of the latest PSNI update.
The four other men have now been charged to court.
Belfast Magistrates’ Court Appearance
The four men are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 12 August 2026.
