After being questioned, the 54-year-old, 32-year-old, and 29-year-old men who were arrested by detectives investigating an attempted hijacking in the Hollymount Park area of Derry/Londonderry on Friday, February 17th, and the discovery of a suspicious device in the Corrody Road area the following day, have been released. However, a fourth man, aged 34, remains in custody as of this morning.
The investigation is still ongoing, and detectives are appealing to the public for any information that could assist with the case. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the police at 101, quoting reference number 1988 17/02/23.
