Cliftonville Ladies remain top of the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership following a 9-0 victory over Crusaders Strikers. Linfield Women, Glentoran Women and Lisburn Rangers also secured wins on Friday 31 July 2026.

Cliftonville Ladies retained top spot in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership after producing a dominant display against north Belfast rivals Crusaders Strikers.

The league leaders recorded a convincing 9-0 victory at Solitude on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, Linfield Women and Glentoran Women maintained their title challenges with important victories. Lisburn Rangers also celebrated a comprehensive derby win over Lisburn Ladies.

Cliftonville Ladies Hit Nine in North Belfast Derby

Cliftonville delivered a ruthless attacking performance to defeat Crusaders Strikers 9-0 at Solitude.

Toni-Leigh Finnegan, Teegan Lynch and Lucy Kelly each scored twice for the league leaders.

Kirsty McGuinness, Caitlin McGuinness and Charlotte Havern also found the net.

The result keeps Cliftonville two points clear of both Linfield Women and Glentoran Women at the top of the table.

Linfield Women Defeat Larne at Midgley Park

Linfield Women remained within touching distance of the leaders following a 2-0 victory over Larne Women.

Eve Reilly opened the scoring before half-time after being set up by Megan Bell.

Bell then secured all three points when she scored Linfield’s second goal with five minutes remaining.

The result leaves Linfield two points behind Cliftonville in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership title race.

Glentoran Women Secure Narrow Win in Derry

Glentoran Women also remain two points off the top following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Derry City Women.

The opening half at the Brandywell ended without a goal.

However, Faye Loughran broke the deadlock five minutes after the restart.

Her second-half strike proved enough to secure an important away victory for the Glens.

Lisburn Rangers Claim Derby Bragging Rights

Lisburn Rangers recorded the other major victory of the evening by defeating Lisburn Ladies 6-0 at Crewe Park.

The match was shown live on DAZN.

Ellie-Mae Dickson starred for Rangers by scoring a hat-trick.

Anastasija Stanyte, Abbie Smyth and Natalia Keenan were also on the scoresheet as Rangers completed a convincing derby victory.
