On the 19th of February 2024, authorities involved in the search for Alan Whiteside, a missing person, made a solemn discovery along the coastline area of Lough Neagh. The body of a man was located during the search efforts on Sunday afternoon.
The finding of the deceased individual is being treated with utmost seriousness, marked as a sudden death by the authorities. However, at present, no further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the tragic event have been released.
Alan Whiteside, aged 33, had been reported missing since Sunday, December 17. The last confirmed sighting of him was as he departed from licensed premises in the High Street area of Antrim, around 9 pm.
