A 31-year-old man faces murder charges in connection with the death of Odhrán Kelly, a 23-year-old nursing assistant. He is scheduled to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday, 8th December.

Odhrán Kelly’s lifeless body was discovered near a burning car on Edward Street in Lurgan last Sunday.

Another 31-year-old man, arrested yesterday, is currently in police custody.

In a related development, Stephanie McClelland, 36, residing at Shan Slieve in Lurgan, and Andrea Stevenson, 43, of Edward Street in Lurgan, appeared at Lisburn Magistrates Court this morning. They are charged with being aware that another person committed murder and aiding that individual in obstructing apprehension, prosecution, or detention on December 3 of this year.

A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team stated, “Detectives have charged a man with the murder of Odhran Kelly. As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
