Man, 25, charged with attempted murder following north Belfast stabbing

Detectives in Belfast have charged a man with attempted murder following a stabbing in the north of the city yesterday, Friday 23rd August.

The man, aged 25, has also been charged with aggravated burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 26th August.

As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.  

The Police Service’s Public Protection Branch continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information which might assist, to get in touch.
