Police have carried out a major drugs operation in Mid Ulster, resulting in six arrests and the seizure of an estimated £15,000 worth of controlled drugs.
Officers from the District Support Team (DST), supported by Local Policing Team (LPT) and Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) colleagues, executed multiple search warrants across the district as part of a coordinated day of action.
The operation focused on individuals suspected of involvement in the supply of illegal drugs within local communities.
During the searches, officers seized a significant quantity of Class A and Class B controlled drugs. Early provisional estimates place the street value of the drugs at approximately £15,000.
Six individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation.
Police have made it clear that disrupting and dismantling organised criminal groups involved in drug supply remains a top priority in Mid Ulster.
