Larne Town Park will be full of spooky fun when Halloween Hooley returns on Tuesday 29 October!

Dust off those broomsticks and put on your best costumes because the spookiest time of year is nearly here.

The park will turn into a monster mash of chills and thrills for all you ghosts and ghouls! From 6pm – 8.30pm there will be plenty of spine-tingling fun – from breath taking fire juggling shows and live music, to spooky storytelling and a UV disco to get all your little pumpkins moving and grooving!

Meet some of your favourite Halloween characters on a self- guided walk through the park which takes around an hour to complete – there are sure to be some tricks and treats along the way!

A surprise Halloween celebrity will also make an appearance with an interactive special effect show at his “Spooky House” plus a bespoke showcase on the theatre stage entitled “The Time Travelers’ Halloween Adventure.”

The evening in the park will also feature fire poi displays, bubbles, bugs and beasties, a kid’s disco, live music stage, arts and crafts and messy play in the Witch’s Kitchen. Weather permitting – there will be a fantastic firework display at 8.15pm.

For the first year a “Quiet Time” session will run from 5pm to 6pm when effects and noise will be kept to a minimum.

There will also be a range of tasty food wagons available on site. Don’t forget to wear your spookiest costume as prizes will be up for grabs!

This is a FREE event. There will be limited parking available on site at Larne Town Park or Larne Leisure Centre, which is a short walk along the promenade.

Please note, the path leading to the park is via the short and steep Snake Path. This access path will close at 7.45pm to allow for the fireworks display.

There will be limited amount of blue badge parking available on Bankhead Lane. For everyone’s safety, alcohol or fireworks are NOT permitted in the park and under 16’s must have a responsible adult accompanying them.
