Following a search in the Doagh area, detectives have confiscated drugs suspected to be Class A.

Detectives in Ballymena are currently investigating a series of rural burglaries in the Mid and East Antrim area. On Wednesday, March 8, they conducted a search of a residential property in the Doagh area in relation to these incidents. The search was carried out with assistance from the Ballymena Neighbourhood Policing Team and District Support Team.

During the search, a significant amount of suspected Class A drugs were seized. The estimated street value of the drugs is believed to be approximately £27,000. A police spokesperson emphasised that the supply of controlled drugs has a destructive impact on both individuals and communities. They reiterated that the Police Service of Northern Ireland is committed to bringing those involved in the supply of controlled drugs to justice.
