Police have named the 23-year-old woman who died following a fatal road traffic collision in Templepatrick as Claudia Jaczyk from the Newtownabbey area.
The collision happened on the Ballyrobin Road on Saturday, 14 February 2026, and involved a bus and a car.
PSNI Confirm Identity of Victim
In a statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed that the woman who lost her life was 23-year-old Claudia Jaczyk.
The fatal collision occurred on the Ballyrobin Road in Templepatrick. Emergency services attended the scene following reports of the crash.
The road was closed for a period to allow officers from the Collision Investigation Unit to carry out forensic and technical examinations.
Road Reopened as Enquiries Continue
Police have confirmed that diversions which were put in place have now been lifted. The Ballyrobin Road has since reopened to traffic.
However, enquiries into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Investigators are particularly keen to speak to motorists or road users who may have dashcam or other digital footage from the area at the time.
