Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is working alongside the Northern Ireland Executive to implement the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Strategy. As part of this initiative, the council is offering funding opportunities through the EVAWG Change Fund to support organisations in the borough.
The EVAWG Change Fund provides tiered funding of up to £25,000 to help grassroots organisations raise awareness and drive change in the community.
The fund is open to a wide range of organisations, including:

✔️ Sports organisations
✔️ Arts and cultural groups
✔️ Faith-based organisations
These grants aim to support projects that work towards changing attitudes and preventing violence against women and girls across Mid and East Antrim.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 9 May 2025.
This fund is part of a £3.2 million investment over seven years, with £2 million allocated to all 11 councils in Northern Ireland for the initial rollout.
