Hedgehog Heroes Family Wildlife Activities at Slieve Gullion

Explore the lives and habitats of hedgehogs during a family wildlife session at Slieve Gullion Forest Park on Saturday 7 November 2026. The event runs from 1pm to 3pm and includes hands-on activities designed to make learning about nature enjoyable.

Hedgehog Heroes is part of Mourne Gullion Strangford’s free Forest Activities programme. No booking is required under the programme guidance, although car parking charges apply. Look for the purple flag at the park.

Bring clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor conditions and check the official source for updates, as activities are weather dependent. The programme’s tourism email handles general enquiries.
