Winter Foraging Walk and Lunch at Ulster Folk Museum
Join foraging and food expert Clare McQuillan for a seasonal Winter Foraging Walk at the Ulster Folk Museum on Sunday 15 November.
Explore the museum’s rural surroundings while learning how to identify edible plants, trees and fruits that can still be found during the colder months.
Discover Winter Wild Foods
During the guided walk, Clare will introduce a variety of wild ingredients and explain how to identify them safely.
You’ll also learn more about the role wild plants played in the homes and everyday lives of people in rural Ulster, adding a fascinating historical dimension to the experience.
Seasonal Foraged Lunch
After the walk, participants will enjoy a lunch inspired by seasonal foraged ingredients.

Guided winter foraging walk
Seasonal lunch
General admission to the Ulster Folk Museum
The lunch menu is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Unfortunately, other dietary requirements cannot be accommodated due to the presence of allergens.
