

Two men have been arrested following a reported stabbing in the Glenville Park area of Newtownabbey on Saturday morning. The injured man was taken to hospital, but police say his injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening. Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information.
Two men have been arrested following a reported stabbing in Newtownabbey on Saturday morning, 22 August.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said officers responded at around 8.25am to a report that a man had been stabbed in the Glenville Park area.
The injured man was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
Detective Inspector Hanbidge confirmed that two men had been arrested following the incident.

Both men remained in police custody on Saturday morning as enquiries continued.
Detective Inspector Hanbidge said:
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed what happened, or who has any information which might assist, to contact us.”
