Fish and Fireworks Children’s Craft Workshop at The Braid
Bring the children along to Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid in Ballymena for a fun, hands-on craft workshop exploring how fish and fireworks connect to the town’s 400th anniversary.
Led by facilitators from Kathleen’s Attic, this creative session is designed for children aged five to ten and forms part of the wider Ballymena 400 programme.
A Fun Ballymena 400 Craft Activity
During the workshop, children will use paper crafts, colouring and their imagination to create two special items to take home.
The session offers a fun and accessible way for younger visitors to learn more about Ballymena’s history and heritage while enjoying a relaxed creative activity.
What Children Will Do
Participants will:
Discover the connection between fish, fireworks and Ballymena 400
Take part in guided paper-craft activities
Enjoy colouring and creative play
Make two finished crafts to take home
