Teenage Boy Who Died Following Coalisland Collision Named as Connor Magee Campbell

Police have named the teenage boy who died following a collision near Coalisland as 16-year-old Connor Magee Campbell from the Clonoe area.

The collision involved a scrambler and a Scania lorry on Derryloughan Road. Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

Police Name Teenager Following Coalisland Collision

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has named a teenage boy who died following a road traffic collision near Coalisland.

Connor Magee Campbell, aged 16 and from the Clonoe area, died following the collision on Derryloughan Road.

The incident was reported to police at approximately 8.15pm on Thursday, 30 July 2026.

Police said the collision involved a scrambler and a Scania lorry.

Connor Died in Hospital Following the Collision

Police officers and personnel from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene.

Medical treatment was provided before Connor was taken to hospital. Police confirmed that he later died from his injuries.

Detective Inspector Stewart, from the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit, said officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Police want to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle in the Derryloughan Road area.

Investigators are particularly interested in:

• Dashcam footage
• Mobile phone recordings
• CCTV footage
• Doorbell camera footage
• Information about either vehicle before the collision
