Man Dies Following Single-Vehicle Collision In Ballyclare

A man in his thirties has died following a single-vehicle collision involving a black Audi A5 in the Green Road area of Ballyclare on Friday evening, 26 June 2026. Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage.

A man has died following a collision in Ballyclare, police have confirmed.

The single-vehicle crash happened in the Green Road area of Ballyclare on Friday evening, 26 June 2026.

Police said they received a report at around 6.45pm that a black Audi A5 had crashed and overturned.

Emergency Services Attended Ballyclare Collision

Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene.

Sadly, the driver, a man in his thirties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Green Road Has Reopened

The Green Road was closed for a time following the collision.

Police have since confirmed that the road has reopened.

Police Appeal For Witnesses And Dash-Cam Footage

Detective Inspector Stewart, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said police enquiries are continuing.

He appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have information that could assist the investigation, to contact police.

This includes anyone with dash-cam or other footage from the Green Road area around the time of the crash.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision in Ballyclare.
