Christmas at Theatre at The Mill 2026 is set to bring festive cheer back to Newtownabbey, with two brand new productions announced for the upcoming season.
The popular venue, Theatre at The Mill, based in the grounds of Mossley Mill, will host a family pantomime and an adult comedy from November 2026 through to January 2027. The announcement follows the success of last year’s productions, Belfast Actually 2 and Robin Hood: The Panto.

Families visiting Christmas at Theatre at The Mill 2026 can enjoy Jack and the Beanstalk, presented by Yellow Jumper Productions.
Described as a high-energy pantomime, the show will feature music, audience interaction and the classic festive fun many families expect from a Christmas theatre trip. The production will run for the general public from 5 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, with school performances taking place from 1 December to 18 December 2026.

Director and writer Sarah Lyle from Yellow Jumper Productions said the company is delighted to return to Theatre at The Mill for a third festive season.
She said the new pantomime will offer “something for everyone” and promised more spectacle, more laughs and more magical moments for audiences this year.
For adults, Christmas at Theatre at The Mill 2026 will also feature Christmas Eve Can Kill You, presented by GBL Productions.
The comedy by Marie Jones was the theatre’s first ever Christmas production and is returning as part of this year’s festive programme. Organisers say it will deliver a bold, witty night out packed with laughs.
The production will run from Thursday 26 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027.
