Woman Dies Following Armagh Road Collision as PSNI Appeal for Witnesses

Woman dies after Armagh road collision

A woman has sadly died following a road traffic collision in Armagh earlier this month.

Police have confirmed the woman, aged in her 90s, passed away after a two-vehicle crash on the Newry Road on Sunday, 22 March 2026.

Officers received a report of the collision shortly after 10:30am, and emergency services attended the scene.

The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries but has since sadly passed away.


PSNI appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage

Detective Inspector Stewart, from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit, said enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the crash.

Police are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage, to come forward.
