

A woman has died following a fatal road traffic collision on the Ballyrobin Road in Templepatrick.
The Ballyrobin Road collision in Templepatrick occurred at approximately 8:00am on Saturday 14 February 2026 and involved a bus and a black Citroen C1.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed officers attended alongside emergency service partners.

Detective Inspector Stewart from the Collision Investigation Unit said police received a report of the two-vehicle collision shortly after 8:00am.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the driver of the Citroen C1 was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the bus, a man in his sixties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. However, police have confirmed these injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Ballyrobin Road remains closed while specialist officers carry out collision investigation work.
