Police Service of Northern Ireland Charge Man With Murder After South Belfast Investigation

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland have charged a 32-year-old man in connection with the murder of a man in south Belfast earlier this week.

The charge follows an investigation led by the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team after the incident on Wednesday, 11 February 2026.

Court Appearance Scheduled

The accused is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 14 February.

As is standard procedure, all charges will now be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Ongoing Investigation

Police have not released further details at this stage. The investigation remains ongoing.
