
Police are renewing their appeal for information following a fatal motorcycle collision on Castlereagh Road, Belfast, on 28th September 2025. Officers are particularly seeking the driver of a car that turned onto Willowfield Street around 11.45pm, who may be able to assist with the investigation.
Detectives from the Police Service’s Collision Investigation Unit are appealing once again for information after a single-vehicle collision in east Belfast claimed the life of 37-year-old William Hunter.
The incident occurred on Sunday, 28th September, at approximately 11.45pm on Castlereagh Road. The collision involved a motorcycle, and sadly, Mr Hunter later died from his injuries in hospital.
Police are now trying to identify the driver of a car which turned from Castlereagh Road onto Willowfield Street at around the same time that night. Investigators believe this person could have vital information to help with ongoing enquiries.
Detectives are urging the driver, or anyone who witnessed the collision, to come forward.
