The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed that a 44-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle collision in Lisburn on Saturday, 9 August 2025.
The incident occurred at approximately 6.45pm on Ravernet Road, when the man reportedly fell from an electric scooter. Police confirmed that no other vehicle was involved in the collision.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was transported to hospital for treatment. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.
Roads Policing Inspector Cherith Adair, from the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“Sadly, he has since passed away in hospital from these injuries. Our officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision, and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage which could assist with our enquiries.”
