Woman Charged Following Fatal Collision in Bushmills

BUSHMILLS, 12 June 2025 — A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Wednesday, 11 June in the Causeway Road area of Bushmills, County Antrim.

Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit have confirmed that a 66-year-old woman has been charged with causing death by careless driving.

She is scheduled to appear before Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 13 June.

As per standard procedure, the charge will be subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

The PSNI has not yet released further details regarding the victim or circumstances surrounding the incident.
