TL;DR: Police have arrested two men after a BMW fled from officers in Armagh, drove dangerously, and collided with another vehicle. Drugs, cash, and expensive watches were later recovered.
Police in Armagh are appealing for information following a serious collision on the Killylea Road and the arrest of two men on Saturday 23rd August 2025.
Shortly after 3pm, officers spotted a grey BMW X5 on Teeraw Road. When police attempted to follow, the BMW made off at speed, driving dangerously along Ballycrummy Road and Killylea Road. The car was reported to have driven on the wrong side of the road and overtaken vehicles recklessly before colliding with a silver Ford Fiesta.
The two occupants of the BMW, men aged 21 and 22, were arrested at the scene. A search of the vehicle uncovered herbal cannabis and cannabis vapes.
Follow-up searches later led to the recovery of a large sum of cash and several expensive watches.
