A man has died following a one-vehicle crash involving a white VW Golf on Ballyhill Road, Nutts Corner, on Saturday evening. A male passenger was also injured. Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed that a man has tragically died following a serious one-vehicle road traffic collision in Nutts Corner.
The crash occurred on Ballyhill Road shortly before 6pm on Saturday, 12 July 2025.
Roads Policing Inspector Cherith Adair said that police received a report of the collision involving a white VW Golf at approximately 5.50pm.
“Colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also attended the scene, but sadly, the driver of the vehicle died at the scene,” she said.
A male passenger was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Ballyhill Road was temporarily closed while investigators examined the scene. It has since reopened.
Inspector Adair has appealed to the public:
“If you have dash cam, mobile phone footage, or any information that might help our investigation, please get in touch.”
