Man Charged After Drug Seizure in Derry/Londonderry

A 38-year-old man has been charged with multiple drug-related offences after police searched a property in Derry/Londonderry on 4 July. He is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday 7 July.


Police Charge Man in Connection With Drug Offences in Derry/Londonderry

A man has been charged following a police operation in Derry/Londonderry that led to the discovery of suspected controlled substances.

On Friday 4 July, officers carried out a search of a property in the area, resulting in the arrest of a 38-year-old man. He has since been charged with a number of offences, including:

  • Attempted possession of a Class C controlled drug with intent to supply
  • Attempted possession of a Class C controlled drug

The man is scheduled to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday 7 July.

As standard, the charges will be subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
