A 47-year-old man from Strabane has been charged with multiple child sexual offences. He is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13th October.
A 47-year-old man from Strabane has been charged with several sexual offences involving a child, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed.
The man was arrested in the Strabane area on Saturday, 11th October, on suspicion of attempted sexual communication with a child. Following police investigation, he has now been charged with two counts of attempted sexual communication with a child, and one count of arranging or facilitating the commission of a sex offence against a child.
He is expected to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13th October.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
“As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).”

As the legal process continues, the man remains charged but not convicted, and the case will proceed through the Northern Ireland court system.
