Description
Braid Film Theatre presents “No Ordinary Heist: The Northern Bank Robbery”, a screening introduced by writer and director Colin McIvor.
Based on the events of the 2004 Northern Bank robbery, the film follows two bank employees who are forced into carrying out the heist after criminals kidnap their families and threaten their lives. The story is drawn from real events surrounding what became Northern Ireland’s largest robbery.
The film stars Eddie Marsan and Éanna Hardwicke.
This screening is supported by the Collective initiative, a partnership between Queen’s Film Theatre and Film Hub NI, which aims to bring independent cinema to audiences across Northern Ireland.
