Gordons School-Room in Carrickfergus is undergoing some exciting changes following the retirement of Ivan, who stepped down after an impressive 57 years in the school wear business on Saturday, November 30th. Ivan’s contributions have been greatly appreciated by local schools, friends, and the community, and he will certainly be missed.

However, the future looks bright as The Signature Works, a family-owned business based in Bangor and Belfast, has taken over the Carrick shop. With their established school wear brand, Signature Schools, they are well-positioned to carry on Ivan’s legacy with the same commitment to quality and service.

On Monday, December 2nd, the shop reopened its doors under the Gordons signage, with David, Malcolm, and the dedicated team—including some familiar faces from the previous staff—ensuring a smooth transition. With Ivan’s continued support, it’s business as usual!
