Larne, Northern Ireland – After over a decade of being a beloved nightlife spot, Ruby’s Bar in Larne has announced its decision to close early next year. This news comes amidst challenging times for the hospitality industry, prompting the owners to reassess their long-term plans.

While the bar will not be closing immediately, it will cease operations early next year. The food service at Ruby’s will end on Monday, July 15th, marking the last day for the restaurant. However, the bar will remain open, continuing to serve its loyal patrons with live sports, live music, entertainment, and private events until its final days.

For those with parties and events booked for this year, the management assures that these commitments will be honored. Despite the cessation of regular restaurant services, Ruby’s will still provide food for private events and party bookings.

Reflecting on its vibrant history, Ruby’s Bar fondly recalls the bustling Saturday nights when 600 patrons filled the venue. The years from 2015 to 2018 were particularly memorable, featuring performances by renowned artists like DJ Sash, Ultrabeat, N-Trance, DJ Kuta, Darren Styles, Basshunter, Alice DJ, and many more. Ruby’s has hosted an array of events, from Clubland and Ibiza nights to BritPop, tribute acts, and local DJs, creating countless unforgettable experiences.

The management expresses deep gratitude to all their customers for their unwavering support over the past 12 years. They invite everyone to visit before the restaurant’s closure on July 15th and to continue enjoying the bar until its final closure in early 2025.

Looking ahead, the team at Ruby’s is excited about future endeavors, including plans for Ruby’s Bodega set to open in 2025. They also recommend visiting their sister restaurant, ‘The Galley @ Cairndhu Golf Club,’ and encourage patrons to watch for new eateries coming soon.

As Ruby’s Bar prepares to close its doors, it leaves behind a legacy of joy, music, and community, looking forward to new beginnings and adventures in the years to come.
